Two (straight) Dublin men to Marry

Two men who have been best friends for the past 29 years have spoken to RTE Radio’s ‘Joe Duffy’ program today, to describe how despite not being gay – they plan to marry next year.

“Speaking on RTÉ’s Liveline on Radio 1, Mr O’Sullivan said that Matt told him he was planning on leaving his house in Dublin’s Stoneybatter to him when he died.”

Mr O Sullivan described to the program that due to Capital Gains tax half of that money would have to be paid out of the inheritance. And for this reason, he plans to marry his 85-year-old neighbour Matt.

Hw is currently Matt’s carer, and they have been friends for three decades.

The Big day is in January.
