McGregor has been keeping a low profile as of late after his family was struck down with the Aussie flu. The UFC star who has not fought in the Octagon since defeating Eddie Alvarez in 2016 is believed to be ready for a very welcome comeback. John Kavanagh, Conor’s coach and friend at Straight Blast Gym is insisting that 2018 will have some even more spectacular moments for the Crumlin native.
Although nothing has yet to be confirmed the Irish star was told his fans recently to expect an announcement soon. Mr Kavangh has said that Conor is now back training every day and a possible contender could be one Tony Ferguson the interim champion.
Khabib Nurmagomedov has also taken shots at Conor Mcgregor over social media and is also a possible contender. With UFC president Dana White putting pressure on the star we for one are looking forward to the next fight.
